Here's a job going through Renoline — the signed estimate becoming a job, the phases, the orders, the text to your trade, the link they open, the photos, the client's page, the receipts and who got paid.

How it works

A whole job, start to finish.

No group chats, no whiteboard, no shoebox of receipts. Here's what a job looks like in Renoline.

1Upload the signed estimate

A PDF or a photo of it. Renoline reads the client, the price, the rooms and the scope, asks about anything unclear, and schedules every phase, trade, material and required photo.

2Text your trades

Tap Text on a phase. Renoline writes the booking — dates, address, scope and their own private link — and opens it in your messages.

3They confirm — it's on your calendar

Trades confirm from the link, pick an arrival time and how many days, and add it to their own calendar. A different day or an after-hours start waits for your OK. Then they send the photos you asked for.

4Clients sign, follow and pay

Proposals signed on their phone, a page that answers "how's it going?", and invoices paid by card or e-Transfer.

5Your books keep up

Snap a handful of receipts; each one is read and put on the right job. Every job shows what you spent, who you paid and the profit as it runs. Year-end is one Excel file for your accountant.

Signed estimate → scheduled job

Upload the estimate. The job builds itself.

Your estimate already says who, where, how much and what. Renoline reads it so you don't type it twice — and asks before it guesses.

Estimate read into a new job1 · Reads the PDF or photo

Client, phone, address, price, tax, rooms, scope lines and the payment schedule, filled in for you. Two or three estimates for one house? Upload them all — each keeps its own scope.

Phases planner2 · Asks what's unclear, then plans the phases

Start date not in the estimate? Basement first, bedrooms after? One card lists the things to decide with a suggested answer picked. Phases can run together or one after the other.

Orders page grouped by supplier3 · Orders, grouped and ready

Materials for the next two weeks, grouped by supplier with the first date they're needed. Copy the list into a text — nothing is sent until you tap.

Trade texts & links

Book a trade with one text. Get proof with one link.

Your trades already live on text, so Renoline meets them there. No app to download, no login to forget, no "did you finish?" calls.

Booking text a trade receives1 · Renoline writes the text

Dates, start time, address, scope and their own private link — built from your schedule. Tap Text and it opens in your phone's messages, ready to send.

Trade link page2 · They confirm in one tap

The link opens their job: pick an arrival time and how many days, confirm, add it to their own calendar, see the scope and materials, and text or call you from the page. In English, Punjabi or Spanish.

Reviewing a trade's photos3 · Photos before it's done

The link asks for the exact before & after shots each phase needs. You approve or send it back with a note — clients only see what you approve.

Tools tailored to your trade

Everything the job needs, in order.

One schedule, every job, every person.

Timeline by job or by person. Red when someone's double-booked. Move a phase and everything after it moves — with the texts to your trades ready to send.

  • Multi-bathroom jobs run as one plan
  • Crew capacity before you book a demo day
  • Feeds into your phone's calendar
Calendar timeline

Every job runs from a checklist.

Each job page shows what's next: photos to review, materials to order, calls to make, selections the client still owes you. Tick it and it's gone — nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Required photos per phase — nothing closes without proof
  • To-dos, punch list and change orders on the job
  • Several rooms or bathrooms in one house, scheduled together
Job page with phases

Receipts that file themselves to the right job.

Take photos of a handful of receipts at once. Each one is read — supplier, total, tax, date — and matched to the job from the delivery address, the dates and who was on site. You check, tap Save, done.

  • Receipt scanning with the tax split out for you — HST, GST or PST
  • Pull-down of your trades and suppliers for "paid to"
  • Bank and card statements filed automatically by your rules
  • Older expenses without a job? "Put on jobs" suggests where they belong
Receipts read and matched to a job

Who you paid, and what each job made.

Every job has its own Money tab: contract, change orders, what's been received, what's still owed, every expense with its receipt, who you paid how much, and the expected profit — so you see a job going sideways while you can still fix it.

  • Who-we-paid by trade or supplier, by job, month, year or all time
  • Spending by category — materials, sub-trades, labour, disposal
  • Mileage log, 30-day cash forecast and double-charge alerts
  • One-tap Excel export and a full backup zip for your accountant
Who we paid

Your week at a glance, every morning.

Today opens with the things to look at this week: a job behind schedule, a trade who hasn't confirmed, materials not ordered, an invoice overdue, a milestone reached but not invoiced, expenses with no receipt. Each one is a tap away from being fixed.

  • Reminder and schedule texts drafted for you — you tap Send
  • Assign several tasks or scope lines to one person at once
  • Deleted a job by mistake? It's in the Trash for 30 days

Your clients

Clients don't install anything either.

Every proposal, client page and invoice is a link you text. It works on any phone, with nothing to download.

Line items, optional add-ons they can tick, deposit on acceptance. Signed on the screen, logged with time and IP.

Progress, schedule, approved photos, selections with deadlines, change orders to approve, warranty requests after handover.

Invoice pageInvoices they pay by card or e-Transfer

Deposit, progress and final invoices in two taps. Card payments land in your Stripe account; e-Transfers get matched when you log them.

Why we built it

"We run several jobs at a time with a dozen trades on text. The big platforms wanted logins for every sub, weeks of onboarding and $500 a month. So we built the tool we actually needed — and it's been running our own jobs since day one."

Frequently asked questions

Who is Renoline for?

Renovation and trade contractors running a few jobs at a time with a small office — bathrooms, kitchens, basements and design-build, plus plumbers, electricians, HVAC, handymen, glass, flooring, drywall and painting, tile, carpentry, cabinets, windows and doors, and deck and fence builders. If your trades live on text and your books live in a shoebox, it's for you.

How does the 30-day free trial work?

Sign up, pick a plan and add a card — you're not charged anything for 30 days. Use everything, invite your office. Your first payment happens on day 31; cancel any time before that from Settings → Billing and you pay nothing.

Can it really read my estimate?

Yes. Upload the signed estimate or contract as a PDF or a photo when you add a job. Renoline pulls out the client, phone, address, price, tax, payment schedule, rooms and scope lines, and lists anything it's unsure about — like the start date or which rooms go first — with a suggested answer you can change. Nothing is created until you tap Create job, and every file is saved to the job.

What happens when a trade picks a different day?

If they confirm the day you offered, at a normal hour, it's confirmed and on your calendar straight away. If they pick a different day, more days, or a start before 6 AM or after 5 PM, it shows on your calendar as "asked for" and waits on your Today screen for an Approve or No. Nothing moves until you say so.

Does Renoline send anything on its own?

No. Every text, email and order is drafted for you and opens in your own messages or mail — you read it and tap Send. The only automatic things are your own notifications.

What exactly does my trade receive?

A normal text from your phone: the dates and start time, the address, the scope of work and a private link. The link opens a simple page where they confirm, pick an arrival time, see their materials and checklist, upload the photos you asked for and leave you a note. No app, no login, and it works in English, Punjabi or Spanish.

Do my trades and clients need an account?

No. Trades get a link by text to confirm, pick an arrival time, tick materials and send photos. Clients get a link to their proposal, their job page and their invoices. Nothing to install, ever.

Can I accept online payments from my clients?

Yes. Connect your Stripe account in Settings and every invoice gets a "Pay by card" button. Money goes straight to your account. e-Transfer instructions are on the invoice too.

How long does it take to get up and running?

About 10 minutes: company name, your templates (we give you three), your first job. Bringing your existing jobs and bookkeeping across from a spreadsheet or another app is a one-time import.

Does it do my bookkeeping?

Books tracks payments in, expenses out (with receipt photos, filed to the right job), who you paid how much, the HST you've collected and paid, and profit per job. Export everything for your accountant or download a full backup any time. It is not a replacement for filing your taxes.

Is there a mobile app?

Renoline is built for the phone first. Add it to your home screen from Safari or Chrome and it works like an app — push notifications included. Native App Store and Play Store apps are coming.

Can I run more than one company?

Yes. One login can hold several companies, each with its own jobs, team and books. Switch between them from the More tab.

How does Renoline protect my data?

Your data sits in a Canadian-region database, encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per company. You can export everything as a file whenever you want, and delete your account by asking us.

Take it to the site.

Add Renoline to your home screen and it works like an app — full screen, push notifications, camera for receipts and site photos.
